Riding the Rainbow is a tech-for-good platform that connects donors with refugee children and families by enabling the donation of pre-loved items—such as bikes, toys, books, and clothes—through a free app. The initiative promotes dignity, integration, and sustainability.
The platform operates through partnerships with local organizations and a growing community of volunteers and ambassadors. It encourages people not only to give but also to engage directly with the cause, whether by delivering items, organizing events, or spreading the word.
At its heart, Riding the Rainbow is about building empathy and creating a sense of belonging for vulnerable children. Every donation is seen as a symbolic “rainbow,” bringing hope and joy while fostering a culture of sharing and support across borders.
The initial app was developed in Ukraine and Tech 4 Great took over to enhance and maintain it.
